Thanks for being upfront about not having done the 2nd peak (as of feb 07 -- I'll bet you are going back!). The sum is good info for climbers. I'll bet the Phoenix Sierra Club and others have been up the 2nd peak.
I would love to go back and do Butterfly peak, but I don't think this will ever be possible since i no longer live in AZ. I mainly added this page for Quartz Peak, but it does not make any sense to add it and not Butterfly Peak.
This is a famous hike and the only developed trail in the whole Estrella Range. The HP of the Range is an unnamed summit at 4,500+ feet a few miles to the west. Nice work, however.
