Kimberly, Kessler, Shaylee, Victor, and I went climbing at Red Rocks. I climbed A Route No One Has Ever Survived, Five-Thirteen Ex, Scent of the Ultraman, Mach 5, and The Play's the Thing. Victor climbed Thy Spirit of a Father Lost while Kessler also attempted it. Kessler and Victor also climbed When the Blood Burns.

Interesting area  Sucess!

Plenty crowded near trailheads on a temperate weekend, but there's so much to explore and a surprising amount of vegetation (manzanita?!)

Tuna and Chips  Sucess!

Spent most of the morning dinking around on Tuna and Chips Wall. Super fun. Discovered that Red Rock ratings are a bit stiffer than at my local crags (Exit 38, Vantage, etc.); adjusted my expectations of myself and had a blast.

Did some sport climbing up in here. Very cool rock with good quality. We climbed in the Black Corridor and Hunter Thompson Dome. Did a few 5.9's and a few 5.10's. Amazing place in the spring time

fun place to fool around and explore  Sucess!

scrambled around the various canyons and rocks while my parents did the loop drive. under the shadow of an approaching monsoon rain the whole time. cool place, easy to find "wilderness" and solitude 5 minutes away from a slew of tourists

Scramble  Sucess!

A fun tourist (read: shooting photos) scramble around the Calico Hills. Climbed a gully near the top, but was running out of daylight and left.
