Although there are hundreds of boulders strewn all over Yosemite Valley, the boulders in or near Camp 4 have seen the greatest popularity and route development. The most famous boulder problem in the world is here on Columbia Boulder. It's called "Midnight Lightening" and it was first climbed by Ron Kauk, one of the best rock climbers in the world.
