I, too, have been nearly mugged by a goat. In my case, a nanny on Class 4 terrain. My friend urged me to be calm, and I knew on a logical level my friend was right...but my adrenaline was a bit spiked until I got out of mama goat's range!
Yikes - I'm guessing a goat moves better on Class 4 stuff than most humans, so that would be worrying! They are so cool to watch, though - we saw a mama and a baby romping around on the cliffs on the south side of Reynolds, and it was something else!

Nice reportI was near Logan Pass climbing Piegan and Pollock Mountains that same day. It was a glorious day for sure.
