the 5 miles to the lake makes for a nice out and back hike. A short hike over the ridge to the west takes you to Wyant Lake. from there you can easily go exploring.

The best part of photos is the memories they hold. I remember there was a light rain the morning I set off for canyon Lake , Thought about turning around, Glad I didn't, turned out to be a fantastic day.
