Thanks for posting this information. I lived in Albuquerque for ~4 yrs and now live in southern NM, but before reading your page I knew very little about this area. Thanks for the education!
I am glad it was helpful. The page is still a work in progress, as I am still writing up a large history section. It is reall worth a trip if you live in the region. If you are from NM, you really should go to the Canadian River Gorge. It is the best part of the Caprock in my opinion...lusher, larger (in terms of area open to the public) and with a truly wild mountain river flowing through it. Plus, it is the least visited part of the Caprock. Thanks for the input!
