"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

DayhikeAfter a fun day snowboarding we decided the snow was a little light to enjoy another. Instead I got up early and headed for the east side of the lake. Upon arrival I found more snow than I expected but went for it anyway in standard boots. Was a fun short little hike to what I thought was going to be a spicy class 3 attempt on some icy boulders. I kept searching and found a tame class 3 route up. Wonderful views from the east side and a fun little summit block.

EasyThere's a good trail for 80% of the hike, just the due east part of the approach is easy cross country. It was so easy I questioned if I was really at the right rock, it was basic class 2 with only the final bit being anything resembling class 3.
