Caterpillars!

Caterpillars bombarded the terrain as I hiked from lower to upper tent meadow at about 8000 to 9000 feet on the Copper Creek trail. Note that you can see several out of focus companions in the background. There must have been millions of them! June 2013

That slope was crazy overrun with the things. If I had laid down for a nap they could have devoured me in about 8 minutes.
