Bees
Fun hike up the ridge. Tons of bees on the summit but they left me alone. Very windy.

Back when there were trees
Date is a guess. My wife and I climbed in 1983, back when the mountain was forested. It looks like a forest fire has since changed the landscape. My most salient memory is a dead coyote in the first trail.
