I'm standing on the NW ridge, looking down alongside it with my back towards the summit, about half an hour away. The crux of the route has just lead us up here, from the left. The slope was about the same as what you see here. Had we reached the ridge any further from the summit, we would have had to go around this bollard. 30 July 2011.
