Beautiful views. I had Champlain and blueberries for breakfast.
Did the Ladder trail up to Dorr and then the traverse to Cadillac. Once I returned to the Tarn, I mozied down the road a 100 yards or so to pick up the trailhead for my final summit of the day beating the afternoons rain by an hour. Views of the bay and back to Bar Harbor were terrific.
Quick hike up with wife. Lovely place.
Went up the Precipice trail, tons of fun
Awesome trail and an awesome summit.
I hiked the North Ridge Trail. Fun hike with nice views.
Climbed this after doing the Beehive. We then continued on to Dorr and Cadillac Mtn for a fun day of going from Sea to the Summit of Acadia National Park.
This mountain seems to be one of the closest to Frenchman's Bay and gives you great panoramic views of both the water and neighboring mountains. A great hike that is suitable for all ages (though the seven-year-old in my group wanted to turn around a couple of times, he made it!)
Almost backed off into thin air. But alas, I realized my error and kept on. Lots of fun and very nice views of ocean/mountains. Interesting terrain.
Precipice Trail was tons of fun, up and back! Nothing like resting your life on a bunch of old rusty iron rungs. Amazing coastline views though!....ps, i'll def do it again!
Climbed this many times over the years. Always fun.
Had fun on the Precipice Trail and enjoyed lunch with a view from the top before heading off to the Beehive.
First and only climb in the eastern US.
Stopped by Acadia for a few days after hiking the "100-mile wilderness". This is an amazing area. Explored every inch that I had time for.
Hiked up the Precipice and over Champlain on the way to Cadillac mountain with my friend Dan.
Precipice was closed thanks to those dumb falcons, took the Beachcroft Trail instead, which was great. Awesome views of Bar Harbor and Frenchman's Bay.
Acadia is always a beautiful place.
My girlfriend and I did this in the hot afternoon. Just the right amount of danger and such a great view. Once on top, we took a break and went down the easy way.
One of my favorite Hikes of all time! Did when I was 10. Had a super good view of the Atlantic Ocean below. Its cliffs made it great too. Enabling you to see straight down.
