You guys are animals. Hiking out from Whitney and all the way over Kearsarge Pass in the same day? And then topping out on the dome at 1:30pm? Crap - I did Charlotte Dome this summer and the approach and climb each took a full day. Nice job - and great trip report!
I really enjoyed it. There was that part about pumping water at the Spring? If it is coming out of the ground you will never get more than a little squirrel or bird pooh and those just add flavor. don't believe most of what you read about water purification in the Sierra.
