Church in Kotan

Kotan village was established before 1581. The church in Kotan was built according to some sources in 1782, it was rebuilt in 1841 - the date above the entrance. The last renovation of the orthodox church was carried out in the first years of the 21st century. The church in Kotan is a typical sacred building found in the west of the Lemko lands. To the temple in 2010, 16 icons returned from the beginning of 1689 to the beginning of the 18th century. The church is surrounded by a wooden fence with a stone foundation.
