Croda dei Toni...what a mountain! In this photo you can see its impressive south face seen from the Marmarole group. On the left Punta de l'Agnèl ( 2724 m ) and on the right Croda Antonio Berti ( 3029 m ), Cima Sud ( 2945 m ), Cima di Auronzo ( 2914 m ) and Punta Maria ( 2659 m ).

It's a very beautiful view, perfect from the south-eastern slopes of the Marmarole group. It really deserves to be seen, especially in winter.

Ivory tower !

This is for me one of the most impressive and beautiful mountains of the Dolomiti, but it suffers a little bit the nearness of the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Imposing and difficult to climb, Croda dei Toni is not for everyone.
