I wonder...

if there is any steel rope on those traverses or securing is a standard or... or not ?!

Viewing Cotatuero area from the other side of Ordesa canyon recently, but I rather wouldn't dare to climb that route with my backpack these days...

yes, it has a steel rope and you can use two strings with carabineers like via ferrata if you want, but my friend prefer to cross without it. The traverse is short and a lot of people cross it whitout anything but the fall is very impressive and it's not a bad idea the use of carabineers.
