Clinker East Face

Clinker East Face

The main summit and rocky spire visible, June 25, 2015. The caldera from the eruption 9000 years ago is down below. The high point in-between the two peaks was part of the eastern rim of the Clinker side vent caldera while the summit of Clinker was part of the western rim. Topography clearly shows lava flows to the north and south out of this breached rim.
