View of the Route as seen from South Notch (descent via Amphitheatre Lake). Enlarge this photo and you can make out: the base of the very straight and vertical 15 ft. of wide crack (in a shallow left-facing dihedral) where pitch #4 starts (the rock is lighter/slightly whitish below and next to the crack); the kind-of top of tower that is the top of pitch #6 where you make a not-really exposed traverse right into the beginning of the dihedral; the notch at the top of the huge dihedral (top of pitch #10); and, the final arete up left toward the summit.
