Cobb Peak

When we gained the ridge near the large "horn" structure, we charted a feasible route up to the summit. It looked pretty straightforward here and actually easy. Of course we knew that we still had 1800 feet of elevation to gain in a bit over 2/3rds of a mile but foreshortening can sometimes be misleading. It was anything but straightforward as we were to find out. Oh yes, the summit is on the right. 4-30-09
