As for climbing it, I didn't ask around or hear anything about that, but at first sight, I wouldn't think so, since the rock quality looked unsafe. I could be mistaken though, I didn't look all that close.
However, further east, as I was hiking along Rio Colca from Chivay to Callalli, I passed plenty of possibilities, and I heard that climbers go to the rocks east of Callalli:
