How long did it take you to drive to/from Pine Bluffs? Google estimates 51 minutes for a mere 17 miles (20 mpg average). I know these are mostly dirt roads, but does it really take that long?
Enjoyed your pics (especially the brewing storm at the end). I'll be visiting next Summer (2012); I'm thinking of taking a waterproof container for the notebooks in the "summit" register.

not badonly about 10 miles are on dirt road, and it's not bad at all.
Great if you could bring a waterproof bag for the notebooks!
