I don,t know.Eighteen yrs ago this was one of my favorite mts.No heards of people,winning kids,craping dogs and the like.When you sit atop "Couch" you are in true wilderness,enjoy it. Just don,t go "Peak Baggin".My son and I will be doing Couchsachraga this summer and I can,t wait !

Route Climbed: from times square Date Climbed: 6-9-04I thought it was a great hike. I thought the views back to Santanoni were great. Lots of flying bloodsuckers on top though. Incredible thunderstorm on the hike out.

Route Climbed: Via Bradley Pond Date Climbed: July 2003Felt the opposite as climber. This is a gem of a hike to a lonely little outpost in the ADKs. It rare to be this far out and we enjoyed every minute of it.
