Large Overhang at the top head of the canyon that is accessed by the Indian Staircase route. This spot made the idea of the 'Indian Staircase' being of archaic Native American origin stick. But it is now thought those 'moqui' steps were developed by Civil War entrepreneurs seeking saltpeter. April 2014.
