Cowboy Ridge
Climbed with Matt Lemke. somehow managed to misidentify the crack and added a pitch, possible first ascent of a variation? actual crack was very mellow, one of the only non-sandbagged routes we did in Zion, really could have used a second #1 C4 though, but easy enough that the runout wasn't too scary.

Very nice scramble and an excellent splitter crack. No one else around. We descended the standard east face scramble route...easy way down.

Great times with Carsten from Germany. I was patient with him on the up, he was patient with me on the down. We screwed up on the descent but enjoyed the experience just the same. Running the rope through cacti and then rapping was a new experience for me. How fun! Really is a joy, something different to loosen up and enjoy Zion from a less technical perspective.
