Surprising...Based on your other shots of Coxcomb, I expected it to be a needle. Surprising to see it's really a long ridge!
Reminds me of Broad Peak in the Karakorum - if you see the shots from Concordia and the route from there to the K2 base camp, it looks... substantial. But actually when viewed from the upper slopes of K2, it's really a thin arete - a blade of a mountain!
Thanks for sharing Liba,
Big Lew

Re: Surprising...Here's http://www.summitpost.org/broad-peak/290634/c-151330 a great picture of Broad Peak by Afzal (who else?), taken from at or near Concordia.
And here: http://www.summitpost.org/in-the-bottleneck-traverse/327512/c-150257 is a picture of Broad Peak from high on K2.
To me, from Concordia BP looks... I dunno... substantial. But then, when viewed from K2, it turns out to just be a thin ridge!
Like a movie set that looks like a town, but is really only the facades of the buildings.
Peace,
Big Lew
