Creeping up the hill

Just below the summit is this housing area that shows how development is occuring all over the Traverse Range. This area appears a bit closer than it is due to using a optical telephoto aspect on the camera. You could actually hike from down there but you don't get the mileage in that way. You could start from the road on the left side of this pic. From down there, this is the view you get looking up. Nov 2009
