Re: Where?

It looks like the Blue Glacier on Mount Olympus, Olympic National Park, Washington.

Re: Where?

Nice job! In fact we crossed over the blue; so I would assume this may be the head of it however with several other glaciers on Olympus I am not 100% sure.

Great photo as well!

It's just...I have to put in my "ubi est?" again. You should start attaching your photos to mountain, route and area pages - what people want especially on SP are the references to these pages where the exact descriptions of the locations, the routes, the ways to get there, the overnight facilities, the durations, the height of the mountain etc. etc. are given. You might like to create some pages of your own as time passes by!
Cheers and I'm really enjoying your gallery,
Eric

Thank you and thank you again for the tips. As you can tell I am new on Summit Post and can use all of the help that I can get! I will try to attach these pics as suggested, thanks

Re: Great photo as well!

For example, check to see if there's a mountain page for "Mount Olympus" - I'm dead sure there is one, anyway! - and if there isn't, either create one of your own or check out an area page that fits here or see if there is any appropriate page in the "routes" section. My impression is that on SummitPost, just about every single mountain, area and route in the USA has been described and given a page, so you shouldn't have any problem finding pages to attach your pics to.
