Crossing the Adver Glacier
The photo was taken during the difficult 1400m climb to Shimshal Whitehorn's base camp. At this point, the way crosses from the true left to the true right of the glacier where it remains until very close to base camp when the glacier is gained. It is not possible to climb the glacier directly due to it being too broken.
