Third Time's a Charm
This trip was with four friends - Greg, Mike, Jeff and Max. A few photos from this trip were printed in Nebraskaland magazine, since one of the guys was a photographer-editor for the publication.
Since Crow Butte is on private land, few hikers make the trip to the summit. My hiking companion, DeDe, and I made two trips up to explore access routes. The first was February 25, 2006, followed by the second on March 18, 2006. The views were terrific, and finding a bighorn sheep tracking collar and skeleton made the trips quite memorable.
