Yep! Another good one. I have been thinking of my first ever mountain experience. But somehow I'm not quite sure what it was. I think a failed attempt on Alta Peak in California in 1990 might qualify. I finally climbed it 8 years later! It's still one of my "highest achievements"

Its a great spot, the north side has a fun climb 5 or 6 pitches around 5.8-5.9... there are lots of great spots around the city and just to the north around squamish and blackcomb.

Camping @ Crown Mountain

Does anyone know if there are any potential spots close to the peak for camping? Am thinking of hiking up there and watching the sunrise before coming back down.
