Crux area for the north ridge route

Looking up at the summit from the north ridge. The well defined ledge just below it is part of the route. Where the ledge finishes at right is what I would consider the crux of the north ridge route. A steep and potentially very icy chute with little in the ways of handholds. We lucked out and hit it with almost no ice, and the loose sand was well packed from a couple days worth of rainstorms.
