Crux Gendarmes and Summit
Approaching the crux gendarmes on the southwest ridge of Bannock Mountain, August 12, 2016. From here you have two options. The summit is visible in the distance. You can traverse very steep slopes below and to the right of the two gendarmes, or scramble over the the top of the lower gendarme which is just right of the big gendarme.
