Clouds roll in from the west gaining lift from the San Luis valley covering Mount Maxwell(left) and Cuatro Peak (right) in a section of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains known as the Culebra Range. Photo taken near North Lake near the town of Stonewall, Co. Aug. 1993

Thanks again for your vote. The San Luis Valley, long and deep, lies to the west beyond the Sangre De Cristo range and often causes warm westerly winds to soar up over the range crest, somtimes bringing interesting, fast forming clouds, Regards
