Culver Lake

This lake occupies the cirque at the north side of the peak. There is an interesting tarn on the near shore separated from the main lake by a small moraine. The little water body appears deeper than the large one. The lake area shows signs of being swept by frequent avalanches. It is difficult to get directly on the mountain from Culver Lake. There is limited camping here. August 2008
