Cunnignham in rain!  Sucess!

We hiked the peak on an overcast and drizzly day with temps in the high 60s . Interesting area with nice views despite the clouds. We did Guadalupe Mt after this, where it started to rain harder.

Steep road  Sucess!

Thanks to Dennis for his peakbagger report and to Scott for this SP page. It was warming up in the desert but I wouldn't want to do this when it gets hot. Good late fall, winter, early spring hike.

Gated Low  Sucess!

The road from the east is gated at about 1600'.
It is in fine shape, and leads to towers at top.
Walked road with 5 DPS folks.

Outstanding views from the top  Sucess!

My wife and I hiked this peak in cool overcast weather and had a great day. Road is steep but the views are outstanding. We had fun trying to identify all the peaks on the horizons. An easy, half-day hike and something to do in winter.
