Yes I did.Our food was included, but when Patricio heard that I was interested in having a cuy, he made a special trip so I could have one. He was excited, and our extra guide, Marco had one too. When I came down from Chimborazo they told Nord he should have had one too! They taste like pork but a little softer. I had a mixed plate in case it didn't work out! These guys don't understand why some Gringos think they make good pets!

You need to attach it to the nutritionarticle LOL. Sorry couldn't vote too high with a clear conscience, and I though a moderate vote will help to keep this image afloat if too many downvoters pounce on it :)

Thanks!I'm glad you found some humor in this pic! I appreciate the vote, but if someone slams it I wouldn't mind. This cuy was just a small part of my trip. I'm glad it didn't turn out to play a larger role, if you know what I mean!

When in Rome...Taking pics of your food on exotic trips really helps round out the experience when you review the photos later. Or in this case allow for a few queasy stomachs. :-) They are tasty, just not enough meat for a hungry climber.
