Dark Canyon Flash Flood
After what may have been a hundred year storm, the river in Dark Canyon went from 10 feet wide and 2 feet deep to 40 yards wide and perhaps 15 feet deep. I wish I could attach video. It's difficult to get a sense of scale, but my student here is standing about 50 feet above the flood and those cotton woods are perhaps 30 feet tall.
