this panorama, here is a spooky, late-afternoon close-up of the upper section of Culebra Peak, facing SE. Culebra Peak has three summits, two of which are visible in this photo. Of the twin summits, the west false summit is in dead center and the actual summit is left of center.
The east false summit is best seen in
this photo (from near Stonewall). Like in the last photo, the snowcap appears greyish because of a dark cloud shadow above.
