DATE AND TIME: 112106, 0742; LOCATION: Just south of the Custer/Huerfano county line, along C-69 (mileposts 41-42); CAMERA: Olympus SP-500 UZ, 6 megapixel, 10x optical, 5x digital; DESCRIPTION: An early-morning view of the Blanca group, facing SW/S from the Wet Mountain Valley. Ellingwood Point is in dead center and Blanca Peak is just left of center. ATTENTION SP MEMBERS: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing that Mt. Lindsey is the tallest peak at the far left, and California Peak is the large summit at around the right 1/3 of the photo? I'm not sure what the three peaks are between Blanca and what I assume is Lindsey. This was the FIRST time that I had EVER been to the Wet Mountain Valley (November 21).
