Dave in the Slot

My friend Dave in one of the slot canyons on the Joint Trail. Needles district of Canyonlands National Park, April 2006. Dead tree hangning directly above him.....good thing it didn't come loose! Of course, I don't think there is any way for it to fall any further by the look of things.
