No matter how many times I see a picture of this mountain I am still impressed!And lovely alpenglow as well! I would love to see it in person someday...but in the meantime, beautiful shots like yours will have to do!

Re: No matter how many times I see a picture of this mountain I am still impressed!Well, who knows, maybe there is a trip to Europe in your future someday. The Alps have lots to offer, ranging from leisurely soaking up the scenery on a Swiss train traveling high in the mountains to very hard climbs on big mountains, and everything in between. I've done some of the latter and taken the train ride. The very hard climbs I'll leave to younger and more ambitious people.
For this particular view, I just had to look outside our tent. The hardest part was getting out of my nice, warm and cozy sleeping bag.
