Nice walk-up  Sucess!

Lots of wildflowers like penstemon and blazing star along the trail. Great views of Glendora Ridge Road on the way to Baden-Powell... and almost nobody else around :) May yet return one day for Throop.

Couple Times  Sucess!

Love this trail. Did Throop Peak, Mount Hawkins and Copter Ridge the first trip. Next, did Mount Lewis, Mount Burnham and Mount Baden Powell. Enjoy the PCT in this area.

Dawson  Sucess!

Nice breeze all day and only a few people on the trail and no one on the peak. Bagged Burnham on the way back/

Dawson Saddle  Sucess!

Perfect Southern California day, at least in the mountains. Bagged Throop Peak first, then went on to Baden-Powell and bagged Burnham Peak on the hike out. 4 1/2 hours car to car.

Loved This  Sucess!

Love the tree near the top. Lots of Boy Scouts on the trail, but it was only a minor drawback. : )
