Deer? Elk?

September 21, 2016 This guy kept staring at me from a distance. Zoomed view. On Mike Auney Trail. Is this an elk or a deer?

In Idaho we'd call that "a little two point bull" or a young, male elk. If you're a hunter you'd better have the right tag.

I googled "a little two point bull" and all kinds of interesting things came up including a 96 year old who bagged an 8 point bull.
