Curious name and interesting peak in the midst of the desert. Noted that it was 200km east of the Doodad!
Haha --- yeah, I'm not sure if there is line-of-sight to the Doodad or not......I think Mt. Grant gets in the way. Glad you like it.
Nice to see this one added.
When you get there, you just might find a personal greeting in the register....
Now you've got my curiousity up. Sadly, I had Desatoya on my schedule this past week but didn't get there. I did however, get Mt. Rose, Middle Sister and Boundary Pk so my time in Nevada was fairly well spent. I'll be back to get Desatoya, Star, Bunker Hill and some others. Love Nevada, have to keep coming back again and again.
Nice captions! But:

Looks much nicer that way :-))
Wow, that's out in the middle of nowhere. How many days did it take you to get out there?
So, add a route already....
Wow - another cool mountain out in the middle of nowhere - nice job Scotty. What's with Barry slacking off on the route info? :)
Yeah, maybe I'll have to step up to the plate......thx for the comments, Bob!
I've never read your stuff before and it now looks as though I might be reading more of your stuff. Nice page.
Thanks, Kane. I do try to keep things interesting. Yes, I love the Great Basin!
I'm going to add this to the ever-expanding list of peaks to climb. :-)
