After you realize there's no safe downclimb to Bear Creek Pass from Peak 11,694, you should find a scree gully below and slightly northeast of the summit as the only reasonable way down without going back the way you came.
This is a view of that route from below. The gully runs behind the pinnacle at the upper right.
