Wow!This photo completely reversed my pre-existing thoughts of Utah mountains west of the Wasatch not having any trees. In fact, this photo is what made me want to climb this mountain. Excellent job.

Re: Wow!The Stansbury Mountains are indeed a natural wonder considering they sit in the middle of a desert wasteland. I need to go back someday. Glad you enjoyed the climb!

There are other ranges in Western Utah that are lush and green and have many wildflowers. The Deep Creek Mountains are amoung the best in the West Desert. Don't forget the Pine Valley Mountains in the south and the Raft River Mountains in the north.
