Desert Bighorn Sheep

Have you ever had a desert bighorn stick out his tongue at you? This one did to me, after climbing up high on a steep rocky cliff, away from the trail, where he knew we couldn't get close to him. I think I heard him say "nya nya" too. When we first saw him, I thought it was a female because of the small horns, and I'm no sheep expert. But the pose in this photo made his sex obvious.
