Desert Varnish and Painted Maple

Desert Varnish and Painted Maple

Natural art, where the paint brush has eroded into sand. Desert Varnish clings to sandstone, as a maple explodes into color. The only thing missing is: more TIME to explore this area of scenic wonders, just north of Sedona, Arizona, approximately 3 miles west of Highway 89A. October 23, 2008

Re: wow!

PODZIEKOWANIE, Ivona! The area you see here
gets some snow, but not very much.

I often dream of visiting southern Poland
and western Germany. I'd like to fly on a
plane to Warsaw, then travel to the High
Tatra
on a motorcycle or inside a motorcar.

In the meantime, I promise to continue to
LOOK at your lovely photos with lots of SNOW!
(I hope you don't mind!!! :- )

Take care - Larry
