Nah, not really. It gets quite hot in the area by March. That's the month I tend to head out to this area. Fantastic rock. Canyonlands is a great explore too.
No, never heard of that. Everyone we ran into mentioned that we needed to get to Castleton and I think that is next on the list. I will look into this though, access issues are really important! Thanks for the heads up!
Yeah,this is part of Return2Sender, a movie that I have watched a whole bunch and that got me first interested in the area. Timmy is one crazy guy! Thanks for the comment and glad you enjoyed the pics.
Great layout and pictures-- nice vicarious experience for the rest of us. What you do is beyond what I can and probably ever will do, but I appreciate the nice work you put in on trip reports and routes.
