Diablo fr Wiedemann Hill

Mount Diablo as viewed from the southwest from Wiedemann Hill on December 27, 2008. Wiedemann Hill (1854F, 854P) is an easy road stroll to get to the top provided you can get into the private subdivision on the northwest (visible below). A good idea is to gain access on an open house weekend. From the high gate at the end of the subdivision roads it is about a 400-vertical-foot hike to the top. It's pretty country up there and the views are pretty good (when the radio buildings and towers aren't in the way).
