Two 11-ers in one day, you can ask for more.
Up on SE, down to the col and then up to Woolley with amazing view toward Mount Alberta.
Two 11,000’er day with Jason Wilcox. Lower South Face of Diadem to glacier to Woolley/Diadem Col, North Ridge of Woolley, back to Col, South Ridge of Diadem Peak, return the same.
Climbed the SE Face via another couloir joining the South Ridge between the Woolley-Diadem col and the summit. I climbed with Rod Xuereb as a team, Ferenc Jasco and Dow Williams soloed ahead of us. We then climbed Woolley. Snow was a little soft, but overall conditions were good. Views of Mt. Alberta, North Twin, and Stutfield were spectacular. A very nice day!
Nice sunny day. Good snow. We combined this summit with an ascent of Mount Woolley. Great and easy climb.
David Mulligan, Terry Manning, John Duerden, and Jonathan Stanley climbed Woolley and Diadem from the bivy site below the glacier east of the two peaks. It was cold and windy, and seemed wintry because of the recent snowfall. The round trip took 11 hours.
Climbed the SE Face with Lubos and Aranka. Good snow climbing with ice at the top; we combined this summit with an ascent of Mount Woolley in a 7 hour bivy-to-bivy trip.
